  • Youth who participate in after-school programs are less likely to skip school and start drinking alcohol.
  • Older children who consistently participate in after-school activities are more likely to attend college, vote, and volunteer later in life.
  • Children who regularly attend after-school programs are more likely to be engaged in school and attentive in class.
  • After-school activities help youth develop social skills, improve academic performance and establish strong relationships with caring adults.

Do you know what your child does when he or she is at the Club? It’s time to find out. Youth programs are most successful when parents, family members and youth development professionals work as partners to create a nurturing environment for children and teens. Parent and family involvement, in particular, is important because it contributes to a young person’s school achievement and healthy development.

Here you can learn how to partner with the Club to create a more successful environment for your children – and all children who participate in Club activities. You’ll find strategies to help you support your child’s success, plus an overview of programs for youth and family support programs. If you’re interested in getting more involved, check out the volunteering section to find out how you can help.

The Club is a place for youth and families to learn and have fun together. We’ve got a special place waiting just for you. Come on in.
