By submitting an entry, each entrant hereby agrees to the following rules:
• Entries must be received between November 9, 2011 and Jan. 19, 2012 by 11:59 p.m. (EST) (“promotion period”).
• On or about February 21, 2012 fifteen (15) semi-finalists will be selected, based on the judging criteria set forth below, from all eligible entries submitted during the promotion period.
• To be considered in the finalist selection process, the each semi-finalist will be required to complete and submit a separate scholarship application form on or before March 15, 2012, or within the timeframe designated by the Sponsor. Such scholarship application form may have additional terms and conditions. Each scholarship applicant will be required to submit a separate publicity release and other documentation as set forth in the application. If, at the time of notification, a semi-finalist indicates he/she is not eligible, or does not wish, to apply for a scholarship, such semi-finalist will be disqualified and a new semi-finalist will be selected from the next highest scoring entry. If a semi-finalist fails to submit a scholarship application, or if a scholarship application is incomplete, such semi-finalist will be disqualified.
• On or about April 12, 2012, three (3) finalists will be selected based on the selection criteria set forth on the scholarship application for a scholarship. Selection is based solely upon the scholarship application submitted, and not on the original entry. The finalists will be notified by telephone, email, and/or mail using the contact information provided at the time of entry. If any finalist does not respond within the time required by Sponsor, or if the notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to any finalist, such finalist will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate finalist may be selected.
• The three finalists will be required to apply to the University of Phoenix within seven (7) business days of notification of being designated as a finalist. If a finalist fails to apply within the time designated by Sponsor, or is ineligible for enrollment, such finalist will be disqualified and a new finalist will be selected to the next highest scoring semi-finalist.
• Sponsor may request additional prize claim documents, such as (without limitation) a media release. If a finalist fails or refuses to sign and return all prize claim documents as requested by Sponsor, such finalist may be disqualified and an alternate finalist may be selected. If any finalist is found to be ineligible or if he or she has not complied with these official rules or declines the prize for any reason, such finalist will be disqualified and the prize may be awarded to the next highest scoring semi-finalist.
• One entry per person.
• Eligibility requirements for entrants: Entrants must be 18 years old; have a high school diploma or a GED; a legal resident of the United States; have been granted permanent residency; have a valid visa that does not prohibit educational studies; have been granted temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS Form g-845; or have been granted asylum along with the approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen Immigration Services. Entrants must NOT be a prospective student, which means the applicant must NOT be currently enrolled nor in the process of enrolling at any University of Phoenix campus or in any University of Phoenix online program at any time prior to the May 7, 2012. Entrants must also meet any eligibility requirements for attending the University of Phoenix and must be ready and able to attend the University of Phoenix on or before May 7, 2012.
• How to enter: During the promotion period, fully complete and sign an entry form.
• Submit such entry form with an original essay, of no more than 500 words, that answers the following questions:
- Why are you (or your mother/caregiver) the most inspirational?
- How do you (or such person) set an example/serve as an inspiration for your (his/her) kids, your (his/her) family and your (his/her) community?
- Why do you want to go to college and what do you plan to do with your degree?
- A signed entry form must accompany entries. Material submitted without signatures will not be judged.

• Judging: Judging will be conducted by a panel from BGCA, Kimberly-Clark Foundation and University of Phoenix. We seek truthful, heartfelt, well thought out submissions. Decisions of the judging panel are final with respect to all matters relating to judging of entries and scholarship applications.

Inspiration to Child/Family – 45%
Educational Aspirations – 25%
Inspirational to Community - 25%
Writing Style or Quality of Writing – 5%
• Sponsor, University of Phoenix and Kimberly-Clark shall have the right, but not the obligation, to edit, remove, modify, publish, license, print, transmit, display or otherwise use any submitted information including without limitation, the entry, the essay, and any and all accompanying personally identifiable information entrant submits, without notice, attribution or compensation (other than the specific prizes described herein) to entrant, his/her successors or assigns, or any other person or entity.
• By participating, in addition to any other grants which may be granted in any other agreement entered into between the Sponsor and any entrant, entrant irrevocably grants Sponsor, University of Phoenix, and Kimberly-Clark, their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies the right to use such Entrant’s name, likeness, biographical information and entry, and any individual(s) described therein, in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes as well as in, on or in connection with the promotion, and hereby releases the such parties from any liability with respect thereto.
• Sponsor, University of Phoenix and Kimberly-Clark are not responsible for computer, network, printing, typographical, human or other errors, problems or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, errors, problems or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the promotion, the announcement of the finalists, the processing of entries or in any promotion-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, undelivered, damaged, inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the processing system for any reason; or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly; or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephonic, paper-transfer, or human error, or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction, damage, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or any combination thereof.
• Scholarship Description: Each qualified finalist will receive one scholarship to any undergraduate or masters program at the University of Phoenix. Scholarship is subject to additional terms and conditions. Scholarship is nontransferable. No cash equivalent will be offered; Please review all University of Phoenix criteria and scholarship terms & conditions. Odds of becoming a finalist will be based upon the number of eligible entries received. Being selected as a finalist does not guarantee enrollment in the University of Phoenix.
• Privacy: Entrant authorizes Sponsor to collect, use, process, transfer and store all information provided by entrant, including without limitation, personal data, in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in such privacy policy, Entrant agrees that Sponsor and Administrator may share or otherwise disclose all information provided by entrant (including without limitation personal data) with the University of Phoenix for the administration of this promotion and any fulfillment of the scholarship. Entrant further agrees that University of Phoenix may share any information it may collect in association with this promotion with Sponsor, Administrator, and/or Kimberly-Clark as needed to assist with the scholarship fulfillment and/or administration.
